Message from the Principal

 

Dear Central Elementary Families,

       I am excited to welcome you to another year as a Central Cub! As we launch this new academic journey, I am excited for a year filled with new experiences and achievements to come.

       This is my 30th year in education and my 7th year with Moore Public Schools. I served 21 years as a classroom teacher varying from 2nd grade all the way to 7th grade. I had the privilege to serve as a school counselor at Houchin Elementary for 4 years, the Asst. Principal at Winding Creek Elementary for one year, and this is my third year as the Principal for Central Elementary. Each experience has afforded me great opportunities and insight into developing my commitment for a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

       Outside of school, I am a mother of two daughters, Justyce (33) who is a personal trainer and body builder, and Hannah (22) who is working on a Master’s degree in School Counseling/LPC and currently works at Santa Fe Elementary. My hobbies include all things decorating, shopping, and most importantly family time.

       At Central, our vision for our students is to develop both academically and achieve their personal growth goals. We are dedicated to working collaboratively with students, parents, guardians, and our community to develop tomorrow’s leaders.
